weTravel in a nutshell.
weTravel is an app for your iPod touch or iPhone which allows the management of all incoming costs on trips or activities. It is not relevant if you are on a buisness trip or just on a family vacation - weTravel is applicable in many different situations. What weTravel can do.
Security first
weTravel is shipped with a login function, which supports multiple local user accounts - this comes in handy when you need to share your device with one or more persons. The most important actions can be displayed in the system log. If you do not need this feature, just use the automated login function for your user account.
Easy creation and management of participants
Create new users by hand or by importing an existing contact from the address-book. Assign participants to groups to minimize the effort when creating new bookings. Booking amounts are automatically divided betweeen all participants. Participants can be filled with all kinds of information. Images for example can be created using the device camera or by importing existing images from the photo library.
Booking at ease
Create categories to order your bookings and - if you want - save the current geographic position. Use the map feature to trace all your former bookings. Bookings can be assigned with images.
The exchange rate always in sight
Log all your money exchanges. weTravel creates an individual exchange rate for every logged currency, which will be automatically considered in all bookings.
An easy and clear user interface
The design of the weTravel user interface tends to be clear and easy to unterstand. If you are stuck, the integrated help feature will guide you through the process.
Managing multiple trips
Create as many trips as you like. Use the global participant pool to assign participants to multiple trips at the same time. Import the participant from the address-book and assign him to the trips he participates in - without creating a new participant for each trip!
Inidividual division of booking amounts NEW
Previously booking amounts could only be equally divided between participants. It is now possible to customize those amounts per head.
Attribute groups NEW
With attribute groups you can store as many information of your participants as you like. For example: If you are on a trip with many students, just create a attribute group called "Student" and add - for instance - a matriculation number attribute. Now enable this attribute group for all applicable participants and you will be able to save the matriculation number for each of them.
Address-book synchronisation NEW
The most important participant information can now be synchronized with the inbuilt address-book. Just enable the corresponding option in the settings and you are good to go.
Edit booking categories NEW
Booking categories can now be edited, sorted and customized with one out of over 40 shipped icons. The first category will pre selected in forthcoming bookings.
Find anyhting - fast NEW
It is now possible to search within the currency and booking list. Bookings can by grouped by time span or category.
weTravel online NEW
weTravel online allows you to create booking reports and view those via our web interface. Booking reports can be viewed, printed or manged. weTravel online features many report types, like the booking-, participant or exchange summary.
weTravel online can generate and send billings as PDF documents to your particpants with a few clicks, which makes the application a perfect fit for group leaders, who need one application to manage their complete trip cots. weTravel can be bought directly via the application at only $1,99 and offers a subscription valid for three months.
